Nourhan Sondok, Artist

Nourhan Sandouk is a Syrian visual artist based in Barcelona, whose work blends creative thinking with a strong aesthetic vision. Her artistic journey spans Damascus, Moscow, and Spain, shaping a multidisciplinary practice rooted in cultural exploration and personal expression.

Nourhan’s work explores emotion, identity, and displacement, often translating her inner world into visual and written forms. In 2021, she published her first book, A Diary of Heart and Mind: From Damascus to the Other Land.

In 2024, she participated in the Barcelona Cultural Biennial as both an artist and speaker, further establishing her presence within the international art community.
