The Possible Woman: The Story of Sharon Ringier

(small.news) — Sharon Ringier has always had an unwavering belief in possibility — and the courage to act on it. This belief is exactly the tool that shaped her path from a former corporate employee to a successful founder of The Possible Woman™.

That leap of faith is now the foundation from which she helps other women business owners reach their own.

“I’ve built platforms where women can see themselves not just as business owners, but as legacy builders,” Sharon said. These platforms are for reaching women from various backgrounds and different industries, showing them that their dreams are achievable. 

She describes herself as a teacher to women small business owners on how to achieve clarity and alignment in their businesses through strategic goal setting, community and events.

Corporate Woman to Community

Before becoming the founder of The Possible Woman™, Sharon worked in corporate for many years. This never seemed to fulfill her the way she needed, which is why she started her first small business – Weddings with a Flair, which later became Sharon Ringier Events. Curating memories for people was something she adored doing, but it also opened up her eyes to a bigger problem.

Women business owners are missing something essential: a community.

So, she created one, not just about access to resources but a supportive community. A community where women business owners could share their journeys, victories, and challenges.

The Possible Woman™

Originally known as the I’m Possible Woman’s Empowerment Collaborative Inc., The Possible Woman™ today includes

–The Possible Woman Channel (est. Jan 2025) – a media platform amplifying women’s voices and thought leadership.
–The Possible Woman Magazine (est. Mar 2024) – a publication celebrating women’s stories, expertise, and accomplishments.
–The Possible Woman Collective (est. Apr 2025) – a membership community for ambitious women small business owners to connect, collaborate, and grow.

These platforms, combined, create the community that Sharon was missing. A community of women business owners who care deeply about fulfilling their dreams.

Her Lifeline

Sharon, like many women, has fallen victim to the superwoman mindset of trying to do everything herself. This led to hospitalization and burnout due to being unable to cope with all the pressure.

This was definitely a wake-up call initiated by her family. This resulted in her learning to prioritize herself first before trying to pour into others’ cups. This became her lifeline. A skill that she teaches to fellow women about prioritizing themselves and owning their dreams. Self-care and self-love are non-negotiables; they are needed to fulfill your dreams.
