Amanda López is a Mexican-American editorial and commercial photographer originally from Sacramento, California, and now based in Denver, Colorado. She is available for assignments worldwide.

López’s portfolio spans editorial, beauty, food, and personal documentary work — a body of work defined by its emotional range and its eye for what she calls the balance of strength, vulnerability, and tenacity in her subjects. Her personal projects include This Is Country Music, Guadalupe, We Are Nasty Women, and In Art I Trust — each one an exploration of identity, culture, and community told through portraiture. Her commercial clients include Betsey Johnson, Nopalera, and Jessica Marie Garcia, and her work has taken her from Denver to assignments across the country.

López’s photo series for Silver Lining’s small.artists Fotografía series, supported by Wells Fargo, centers on Denver’s first Guatemalan coffee shop and its owners, Vivi and Kristen, who share their love for Guatemala through coffee, food, and above all else, convivio — a get-together where all are welcome.
