Paul Masilo is the founder of Freshmo, Africa’s first township-born mouthwash sachet brand and the first black-owned township-based company on the continent to manufacture mouthwash packaged in sachets. Born from a moment of personal reflection and necessity, Freshmo was created to provide convenient, affordable, and proudly African oral care products designed with local communities in mind.

Despite early barriers to retail access and industry adoption, Paul continued building the brand through persistence, grassroots support, and a clear vision for accessible oral hygiene products. Today, Freshmo represents more than a consumer product—it stands as a symbol of township innovation, African manufacturing, and black entrepreneurial leadership, with ambitions to become one of Africa’s leading oral hygiene and personal care brands.
