Dr. Yin Min Han, Managing Director, Royal Manizawta Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd.

Ms. Yin Min Han is a second-generation business executive who currently serves as Managing Director of Royal Manizawta Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., maker of Hao Su Balm, alongside leadership roles across construction engineering, manufacturing, international trading, and agriculture. She began her career in medicine, earning her MRCS qualification from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, before joining her family’s business group, V-Pile Holdings Co., Ltd., in 2013. After completing an Executive MBA at SWPS University of Social Sciences and Humanities (Poland) in 2015, she took on leadership roles across Myanmar V-Pile Co., Ltd., First Myanmar Construction Co., Ltd., and a Japan joint-venture spun-pile manufacturing facility in the Thilawa Special Economic Zone, where she remains a Director. In recognition of her contribution to regional business ownership, she received the Outstanding ASEAN Young Entrepreneurs’ Award 2024.

In 2022, Ms. Han took the helm of Royal Manizawta Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., transforming Hao Su Balm — a traditional family remedy her mother brought back from Taiwan in 2007 — into one of Myanmar’s leading topical wellness brands. Under her direction, the company rebranded around a modern, oriental floral identity, grew its distribution to over 90% of modern trade and roughly 40% of general trade nationwide, expanded its product line from two to six offerings, achieved ISO 9001:2015 certification, and launched a nanotechnology research partnership with the Sri Lanka Institute of Nanotechnology. She has also built out the company’s community commitments — disaster relief, hospital and monastery support, marathon sponsorships, and a majority women-led workforce — while expanding exports to Cambodia and the United States.
