Pallavi Pande, founder of DTOCS Posted on August 31, 2026August 26, 2026 Pallavi Pande is the founder and owner of DTOCS, a Portland, Oregon-based brand creating classy, compostable tableware from naturally shed Areca palm leaves and bamboo fiber — and DTOCS Consulting, a full-service Amazon growth partner firm helping brands scale on the platform. Inspired by childhood memories of dining on banana leaves in India, she built DTOCS into a nationally recognized brand: a Stevie’s Gold winner, a Tory Burch Foundation Fellow, an INC 250 Female Founders 2024 honoree, and a NEXTY Award recipient for most innovative sustainable product. DTOCS has also been recognized as one of America’s Top 100 Businesses. Beyond the product, Pallavi has built DTOCS into a vehicle for social impact — partnering with women artisans in India who manufacture the tableware, providing sewing machines through Anmol Sahara, and contributing to education nonprofits in both India and Portland. She holds an M.S. from The Ohio State University, leads a 2,000+ member South Asian moms group in Oregon, and serves on her city’s Environmental Stewardship and Public Engagement committee. When she’s not building businesses or mentoring fellow small business owners, she’s dancing Zumba or sipping wine — always championing People, Planet, and Parties.
