Lisi Whitworth is a Deaf small business owner, award-winning journalist, and the CEO and co-founder of Eventida — an R&D lab with a mission to make the world more accessible and inclusive. With over 25 years of experience spanning media, technology, event planning, UX design, marketing, and business administration, she brings a rare breadth of expertise to her work at the intersection of inclusion and innovation.

A cancer survivor, fibromyalgia warrior, and advocate for the full participation of Deaf and disabled professionals in business and culture, Lisi writes about inclusive events, wellness, and the startup journey through her Substack and Medium publication, Eventida Insights. Her community work has included serving on the board of DC Association of the Deaf, mentoring Deaf small business owners, and hosting ASL Families events — all driven by the same conviction that shapes Eventida: that diverse, intersectional professionals deserve space to bring their whole and best selves.
