Hyacinth Tucker is a proud Jamaican-born, U.S. Army veteran, MBA, PMP-certified entrepreneur, and the founder and CEO of The Laundry Basket LLC. Her small business is an award-winning mobile laundry and dry cleaning company. It has been expanded across multiple cities, providing laundry solutions to households, government agencies, and underserved community.

The Laundry Basket LLC was awarded the Visionary Award by Take The Lead, and Tucker has won several pitch competitions, including Howard University’s HUPitch and the Greater Washington Partnership’s Next Level Accelerator. Tucker has been featured in publications like Homes & Gardens, The Spruce, and Authority Magazine.

Tucker also serves as a speaker and mentor for small business owners across the United States. She is a workforce development advocate, and is currently creating alternative career pathways in the laundry industry to support minority and veteran employment.
