Sian Young, founder of Siel Environmental

Sian Cuffy-Young is the founder, CEO, and Principal Consultant of Siel Environmental Services Limited, a for-profit social enterprise based in Trinidad and Tobago dedicated to transforming the Caribbean’s relationship with waste. Founded in 2015, Siel specializes in waste education, waste management training, and project consultancy — working with clients ranging from the U.S. Embassy and the United Nations to Shell, the University of the West Indies, and the International Solid Waste Association.

Through consulting, courses, speaking engagements, and published books, Sian has built Siel into a multi-channel platform for environmental impact — equipping consumers, organizations, and the next generation of environmental professionals with the knowledge and tools to make better decisions about waste across the Caribbean and beyond.
